The end of September was reserved for MindSphere Developer Days in Berlin, which was on my wish list of events for 2018.
I was curious to what point did MS developed since the last time we actually used this platform, wondering how many other MindSphere developers would show up since its version 3.0 was released in January 2018.
From the visitor’s point of view, the organization of the whole event was amazing.
The entrance actually was a long dark tunnel that which gave a bit `Blade` movie atmosphere. Since it was held in an old brewery (so I was told), it felt like being in an industrial building and experiencing the next industrial revolution.
MindSphere is an open cloud platform that stores operational data from real hardware devices and makes it available for applications. We faced some issues while working on a project with MS, but the overall experience made us believe that it will evolve into something great.
A big thank you to all #devs, guests, partners, and colleagues, who made the first #Mindsphere #DeveloperDays a full success. In case you missed it: here are the highlights! pic.twitter.com/a6iw4KmF8Z

So-called expert booths were set all around the place, gathering MindSphere experts who were available for talk and happy to share their valuable experience and knowledge.
I was eager about the progress of their promised `MindConnect IoT Extensions` that would allow us to connect raspberry PI on MS.
Luckily, I had success in finding a booth with one raspberry connected to the MS cloud and got a chance to exchange opinions with an expert. Many of my questions were resolved and even my suggestions and wishes regarding the work of the extension were taken.
We addressed our concerns and problems we had with MindSphere platform and it felt like Siemens really cared about our feedback.
It was a great thing to attend on MS developers days, an event with a huge potential to turn into something very significant in this field of profession, by opening the industrial hardware market to software development companies.
